Training Structure

How Our Group Sessions Are Organized

Every training session follows a consistent format: equipment check, route briefing, paced group departure, scheduled rest points, and a brief post-ride discussion.

Ride leaders are experienced cyclists trained in group management, first aid awareness, and Australian road rule compliance. They maintain communication throughout each session.

Ride Essentials

What to Know Before You Join

Equipment Requirements

A well-maintained bicycle with functioning brakes, inflated tires, front and rear lights, and an approved helmet are mandatory for all group rides. We recommend carrying a spare tube, pump, and multi-tool.

Hydration

Bring at least one full water bottle. Longer routes include designated refill stops.

Sun Protection

Apply sunscreen and wear UV-protective eyewear during daytime rides.

Group Etiquette

Signal turns, maintain consistent spacing, and communicate hazards to riders behind you.

Weather Policy

Sessions may be rescheduled during severe weather conditions including electrical storms, extreme heat advisories above 40°C, or poor air quality alerts. Participants receive notification at least four hours before departure when possible.
